Hope Association’s 44th annual Ride-In
MEXICO — The Hope Association is preparing for its 44th annual Ride-In, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 10, starting at New Hope, 91 Highland Terrace.
Held every year since 1974 this event brings area snowmobilers together with participants to raise money and, more importantly, offers participants a chance to enjoy the outdoors in a unique way. Thanks to the generosity of local snowmobilers, the community, volunteers and the participants themselves, this event has raised over $270,000 since it began.
Friends and supporters of Hope Association may purchase raffle tickets. Cost is $1 for one ticket or $5 for six tickets. Prizes include cash, gift certificates and other gifts. Tickets are available at Hope Association, Briar Patch Greenhouse, What Not Shop and at Good Karma.
Folks may also make a donation directly to the Ride-In if they like. All donations provide opportunities for individuals with intellectual and related disabilities to participate in non-Medicaid reimbursable activities and to purchase much needed materials or equipment that are not paid for by state funds.
