GRAY — John Martin scored eight of his game-high 26 points in overtime after Nick Pelletier hit a tying 3-pointer with five seconds in the fourth period to lift Gray-New Gloucester to a 60-56 boys’ basketball victory over Wells on Friday.
The Patriots (9-3) trailed 32-19 at halftime, then held the Warriros to 14 points in the second half.
Pelletier added 16 points and made four 3-pointers
Payton MacKay scored 12 points for Wells (6-5). Matt Sherburne added 11.
Bangor 74, Lewiston 54
BANGOR — Senior forward Matthew Fleming recorded a game-high 27 points to lead Bangor to a 74-54 victory over Lewiston in boys’ basketball action Friday evening.
The Rams (12-1) opened up with a 10-0 run, and led by a modest 33-26 margin at the half. Senior guard Damien Vance appropriated another 18 points, while junior forward Henry Westrich rounded out the double-digit scoring with 14 points for Bangor.
Senior guard Hassan Hussein tabulated eight field goals, including three from beyond the arc, and three free throws for a team-leading 22 points for the Blue Devils (2-9) in the losing effort.
Lake Region 60, Poland 42
NAPLES — The Lakers (3-9) took a 32-13 halftime lead, rode out a 17-9 third-quarter rally by the Knights (1-9), then went 12 of 18 from the line down the stretch.
Mark Mayo had 19 points to lead Lake Region. Evan Willey added 16 points, including four 3-pointers.
Tyler Tucci led Poland with 13 points.
Valley 73, Rangeley 57
BINGHAM — Joey Thomas scored 29 points — nailing six 3-pointers — to lead the Cavaliers to an East/West victory over the Lakers.
Zach Walter scored 14 points and had eight rebounds, while Spencer Hunnewell scored 10 points, had four rebounds and four assists for Valley (9-4).
Nolan Boone led Rangeley (7-4) with 18 points.

Hebron 44, Seacoast Christian 39
ELIOT — Senior guard Franceska Halloran became the first Hebron girls’ basketball player to achieve 1,000 career points as the Lumberjacks collected a 44-39 victory over Seacoast Christian Academy in girls’ basketball action Friday.
Halloran needed 11 points to reach 1,000. She finished with 24. Allyson Walsh added 11 points for Hebron (8-1).
Senior guard Katie Pilkington registered a team-leading 16 points for the Guardians (0-11) in the losing effort.
Boothbay 54, Spruce Mountain 35
JAY — Faith Blethen scored 18 points to lead Boothbay to a 54-35 victory over Spruce Mountain in girls’ basketball action Friday.
The Seahawks (13-0) led 30-15 at the half. Ashley Abbott contributed 13 points to the win.
Jaycee Cole netted 10 points for the Phoenix (7-6), while Julianne Doiron contributed nine.
Lake Region 31, Poland 23
NAPLES — Shauna Hancock scored 13 points, and Brooke Harriman tallied all six of her points in the fourth quarter as the Lakers (5-7) downed the Knights (3-10).
Lake Region led 16-10 at halftime and 22-15 after three quarters.
Allison Ferland scored seven points for Poland.
Monmouth 49, Madison 47
MADISON — Kaeti Butterfield scored 18 points to lead Monmouth past Madison 49-47 in a back-and-forth Mountain Valley Conference girls’ basketball game Friday.
Katie Harris added 10 points for Monmouth (9-4).
Madison (5-8) was led by Katie Worthen’s 19 points.
Oak Hill 53, Lisbon 29
WALES — Paige Gonya had 16 points to lead Oak Hill to a 53-29 win over Libson in a MVC girls’ basketball game Friday.
Desirae Dumais and Sara Moring added nine points apiece for the Raiders (11-1).
Valerie Doucette and Mallory Fairbanks each had six points for the Greyhounds (1-11).
Rangeley 51, Valley 47
BINGHAM — Trailing with 23 seconds left in the game, Rangeley managed to come back and seal the game at the foul line to give the Lakers their eighth straight win in an East/West game.
Rangeley (11-1) was 8 for 9 in free throws in the fourth quarter to pick up the victory over the Cavaliers (8-6). Lauren Eastlack led the Lakers with 14 points, while Olivia Pye added 11 points.
Jillian Miller — who scored the basket that gave Valley a lead in the fourth quarter — and Kendra Sweet each had 14 points for Valley.
Sacopee Valley 56, Buckfield 16
HIRAM — Kylie Day scored 12 points, and Haley Ryan got seven of her nine points during a 15-0 first quarter for the Hawks (3-8) as they rolled past the Bucks (4-6).
Lindsey Hendricks also finished with nine points for Sacopee, which led 28-6 at halftime.
Kathryn Henderson scored seven points for Buckfield.
