OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Jay Hawkes scored a game-high 20 points and Poland outscored Old Orchard Beach 15-8 in the fourth quarter to earn a 47-40 boys’ basketball victory Tuesday night.

Old Orchard (6-8) trailed 24-16 at halftime, but Ryan Crockett scored eight of his 15 points in the third quarter to help the Seagulls make it 32-32.

James McCullum added 11 points for Old Orchard.

Oak Hill 73, Telstar 22

BETHEL — Four players scored in double digits as the Raiders rolled to the MVC boys’ basketball victory Saturday.

Gabe Samson had 13 points, Ausborn Boston added 11 and Gavin Rawstron and Liam Rodrigue had 10 points apiece for the Raiders (5-10).

Colby Marriott and Brayden Stevens each scored 10 points for the Raiders (1-14).

Oxford Hills 56, Windham 31

WINDHAM — Spencer Strong scored a game-high 22 points and Colton Carson had 20 as the Vikings (10-6) cruised past the Eagles (7-8).

Oxford Hills led 28-16 at halftime.

Andrew Wing scored 12 points, and Dierhow Bol had six points and four blocks for Windham.

Scarborough 69, Lewiston 56

SCARBOROUGH — Nick Fiorillo scored a game-high 23 points, Brian Austin had 20 and the Red Storm (9-7) used a 17-11 advantage in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Blue Devils (2-13).

Scarborough led 52-45 after three quarters.

Dylon Jackson scored 15 points and Yasin Mohamud had 13 for Lewiston.

Winthrop 65, Mt. Abram 35

SALEM — Cam Wood scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Ramblers to the MVC win.

Jared McLaughlin added 11 points for Winthrop (14-1).

Girls’ basketball

Lawrence 64, Mt. Blue 58

FAIRFIELD — Savannah Weston and Sarah Poli each scored eight points in the final quarter as the Bulldogs pulled away for the KVAC girls’ basketball win Tuesday.

Keagan Alley led the Lawrence (11-4) offense with 15 points, while Poli finished with 14 points, Brooklyn Lambert added 13 and Megan Curtis chipped in 10.

Mt. Blue (6-9) was led by Lexi Mittelstadt’s 30 points, including 10 for 12 from the free throw line.

Scarborough 44, Lewiston 26

LEWISTON — Junior guard Julia Freeman drained a game-high 23 points to lead Scarborough to a 44-26 victory over Lewiston in girls’ basketball action Tuesday evening.

The Red Storm (15-1) went on an 11-4 run in the second quarter for a 23-13 halftime lead. Freeman had 10 field goals, including two from 3-point range, and a free throw for her 23 points.

The Blue Devils (3-12) were paced by sophomore guard Myah Nicolas, who provided eight points on four field goals.

St. Dominic 49, Kents Hill 29

READFIELD — Mia-Angelina Leslie poured in a game-high 17 points to lead St. Dom’s to a 49-29 victory over Kents Hill in girls’ basketball action Tuesday evening.

The Saints (8-6) led 27-18 at the half. Skye Rogers and Becca Zimmerman provided strong offense in the third quarter for St. Dom’s as it went on a 15-2 run.

Lauren Murray led the Huskies (2-10) with four field goals, including three from beyond the arc, for 11 points in the losing effort.

Winthrop 53, Mt. Abram 39

SALEM — Maddie Perkins and Aaliyah WilsonFalcone each had 11 points to lead Winthrop to a 53-39 victory over Mt Abram.

Kaylee Knight led Mt. Abram (5-10) with 17 points. Summer Ross and Ashlyn Sorel each scored nine points.

Edward Little 52, Leavitt 26

TURNER — George Kampstra and Gage Cloutier led the Red Eddies (1-1) with 12 points each as Edward Little defeated Leavitt 52-26 in Unified basketball action Tuesday.

Hailey Smith contributed eight points for Edward Little

Leavitt (0-1) was led by Mattie Ouellette’s eight points, while Kaylee Martin and Alex Morris each had four points.

Lisbon 34, Oak Hill 29

WALES — Michael Farrington led Lisbon with 10 points and Dawson Martel chipped in six to lead balanced Lisbon (1-0) to a 34-29 Unified basketball win over Oak Hill on Tuesday.

Nine players scored for the Greyhounds.

Marcel Trepanier led all scorers with 18 points for the Raiders (0-1), while Thomas Grayson had eight and Ethan Richard finished with three.
