During the past two months, I have been truly impressed with the professional process Gov. Janet Mills set up to select people to serve on her executive team. The people the governor entrusted to be her recruiting team are highly regarded Maine citizens. And the results speak for themselves. The people nominated to fill key roles in state government are truly impressive — all with exemplary credentials, both in the subject matter of the departments they have been chosen to lead and in organizational management.

It is a very impressive team.

I also note that the governor chose to re-appoint three cabinet members from the prior administration — and that is noteworthy.
