Sens. Ned Claxton, D-Auburn, and Cathy Breen, D-Falmouth, welcomed the Gray-New Gloucester High School Band to the Maine State House on Jan. 31. The band performed the national anthem at the start of the day’s legislative session. The national anthem is played by various groups and individuals from around the state at the start of each legislative session. To make a recommendation for an anthem performer, contact Sen.
