LEWISTON — The Lewiston Youth Advisory Council will host “Let’s Go Eat” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb, 7, at the Gendron Franco Center to showcase local food and restaurants.

The free event will offer food on a first-come, first-served basis. Participating eateries will provide samples of the food they serve, and will have menus on hand.

So far, participating eateries are: Fish Bones Grill, Pedro O’Hara’s, DaVinci’s Eatery, Cowbell Grill and Tap, Marco’s Italian Restaurant, Forage Market, Luiggi’s Pizzeria, Fran’s Restaurant, The Heritage Restaurant, The Cupcakery, the Italian Bakery, Mother India and E. Claire & Pastries.

In addition to tasty samples, attendees can also leave with a “Where’s the Food? Lewiston, Maine” bumper sticker and will have an opportunity to write their thoughts on a display asking what they think of Lewiston eateries — both upon arrival and then after eating. A slide show of Lewiston’s many dining locations will be shown.
