Greene Town Manager Tom Richmond reported to selectmen Monday night that it took two days to re-stock the salt shed and it took two days to empty the shed following the last snowstorm. Richmond also reported that the normal supplier does not have sand available at this time and he would have to seek another supplier to re-stock before the next snowstorm. Selectman Albert Donovan recommended to the board that so-called hot sand, a product that does not freeze, be looked into for price and performance.
