LEWISTON – Mark Stephen Sheloske, of Poland, died peacefully at Russell Park Rehabilitation and Living Center on Feb. 13, 2019, following a long illness, with his sister, Lynn Sheloske, at his side.Mark was born in Lewiston to Gordon M. Sheloske and Mary Ellen Conner Sheloske Goss on July 16, 1958. He was predeceased by his father in December 1961. In 1962, he moved with his mother and sister to Mechanic Falls where he was raised. He attended Mechanic Falls and Auburn schools where he was an outstanding athlete. He graduated from the American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona, Fla., in 1977.He worked for several years at Tri State Honda in Brunswick and following that, he worked as an industrial insulation technician for several companies including Damon Insulation and C&C Insulation.He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Goss; his stepfather, Harold Goss Jr., his daughter, Rachel Paddock (fiancé, Patrick Moore); son, Matthew Sheloske (fiancé Emily Letourneai); sisters, Lynn Sheloske and Sandra Goss (Paul Henry); brother, Jim Goss; grandchildren, Eleanor, Teddy, Woodrow and Hugh.He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and motorcyclist. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.A visitation/memorial gathering will be held at Gracelawn Memorial Park on Turner Street in Auburn, Maine, on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, from 2-4 p.m.
