AUBURN – Nora D. Brackett, 87, a resident of North Turner, passed away peacefully, Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, at Bolster Heights Residential Care Facility in Auburn.She was born in North Turner on Sept. 18, 1931. Nora was the daughter of Albion Brackett and Cynthia (Leavitt) Brackett. She was educated in the Turner school and was a 1950 graduate of Leavitt Institute. Nora spent most of her life working hard at the canning factory in Canton, Leavitt Farms in North Turner packing apples and DeCoster Egg Farm in North Turner packing eggs. Nora enjoyed reading the newspaper daily and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, always looking forward to a game and would talk baseball whenever she could.She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Albion Brackett Jr., and Frank Brackett; sisters, Gladys Lee, Ruth Dailey, Ada Pulsifer and Perliss Bracken.
