PHOTOS: Auburn sixth graders off to middle school

The sixth-grade class at Walton Elementary School in Auburn were given awards and well-wishes by their teachers and the principal as they head off to Auburn Middle School in the fall.

Principal Mike Davis hands Olivia Mace-Holt the "Principal's Award" during the sixth-grade promotion ceremony at Walton Elementary School in Auburn on Wednesday. Teachers and Davis acknowledged 37 students who just finished their sixth-grade school year and will advance to Auburn Middle School in August. In addition to her "Principal's Award," Mace-Holt received an "Award for Educational Achievement" and the "Future Equestrian Award." Davis handed out two "Principal's Awards."
