PARIS — Cassidy Dumont’s 17 points led Oxford Hills in its 54-35 win over Mt. Blue in girls basketball action Thursday.
Brooklyn Alexander chipped in 16 points for Oxford Hills (2-0).
Eva Stevens scored 12 points for Mt. Blue (0-4).
BOOTHBAY 36, RICHMOND 28: Glory Blethen matched the Bobcats’ total by scoring 28 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, in the Seahawks’ victory in Richmond.
Jaelyn Crocker contributed six points to Boothbay’s win, and Kylie Brown scored two.
Richmond was led by Macy Carver’s 14 points. Kara Briand added six points and Sophia Wells finished with four.
BOYS BASKETBALL
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 67, BUCKFIELD 23: Keagan Pitcher’s 17 pointes paced the Falcons past the Bucks in Rumford.
Zach New had 11 points and Leon Salmon chipped in 10 for Mountain Valley (1-1).
Gavin Charest scored 11 points for Buckfield (0-2).

BRUNSWICK 6, MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE 1: Jacob Fullerton’s power-play goal on a deflection gave Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse (1-2) an early advantage, but the Dragons (1-0) closed the first period with three straight goals and pulled away for a victory at Troubh Ice Arena.
Grey Perham scored twice, and Zach Stern-Hayes, Kennedy Eddy, Joe Marro and Nick Marro each added a goal for Brunswick.
