DIXFIELD — Charlie Houghton scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half as the Dirigo boys basketball team defeated Lisbon 50-42 on Tuesday.

The Cougars led by three points, 30-27, at halftime, then played better defense and rebounded better in the second half.

Houghton also pulled down 10 rebounds. Trent Holman added 10 points for Dirigo (3-2).

Mason Booker scored 11 points to lead Lisbon (0-4), while Owen Smith finished with 10 points.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 50, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 43: Wyatt Kenny led the Patriots (1-0) with 14 points as they beat the Raiders (3-4) at Fryeburg.

Jay Hawkes contributed 12 points for Gray-New Gloucester, and Joshua Michaud hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with nine points.

Will Hallam led Fryeburg Academy with 15 points.

LAWRENCE 64, MT. BLUE 46: Zack Nickerson and Kristian Larouche each scored 14 points for the Bulldogs (3-4) in their win over the Cougars.

Chandler Briggs and Evans Sterling each had 11 points for Mt. Blue (2-4).

RICHMOND 54, ST. DOMINIC 47: Calob Densmore had 28 points to lead the Bobcats over the Saints in Richmond.

Andrew Vashon scored eight points, while Connor Vashon added seven points for the Bobcats.

Gabe Carey had 23 points to lead the Saints, and Alex Willings dropped in 19 points.

WINTHROP 56, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 42: Ian Steele paced the Ramblers with 18 points in their road win over the Phoenix in Jay.

Gavin Perkins and Logan Baird each added 13 points for Winthrop (4-3).

Owen Bryant put up a team-best 10 points for Spruce Mountain (4-1)

LAWRENCE 60, MT. BLUE 30: Alicen Higgins scored 12 points to lead a balanced Bulldog attack in the win over the Cougars in Fairfield.

Hope Bouchard and Sarah Poli added 10 points apiece for Lawrence (6-0).

Katelyn Dagger scored 11 points for Mt. Blue (1-5), while Eva Stevens chipped in 10.
