Maine residents age 16 or older can pre-register for COVID-19 vaccinations and eventually schedule appointments at the website vaccinateme.maine.gov. The website is not a centralized registration for all vaccination providers in Maine. If you are having trouble or don’t have an email address or mobile phone, call the Maine COVID-19 Community Vaccination Line at 1-888-445-4111. It is open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
An up-to-date list of health care centers offering COVID vaccines can be found at the Maine Office of the Governor’s website. Here are some resources for finding vaccinations in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties:
• Auburn Mall: Central Maine Healthcare is working on a mass vaccination clinic to be operational March 17. Appointments are through Central Maine Healthcare’s webpage or calling 207-520-2917
• Central Maine Medical Center, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital: Appointments are through Central Maine Healthcare’s webpage or calling 207-520-2917.
• CVS: Patients must register in advance at CVS.com, through the CVS Pharmacy app or by calling CVS customer service at (800) 746-7287.
• Hannaford: For those 60 and older can make appointments online at their website
• MaineHealth vaccine clinic, Norway: Call 877-780-7545 or text MaineHealth to 877-780-7545.
• Med Care Ambulance Service: Drive-thru clinics for COVID-19 vaccinations start March 5. Schedule an appointment online, and clinics are announced to the public on Med-Care’s Facebook page.
• Oxford Casino: Maine’s mobile vaccination unit will be in the casino parking lot until Friday, April 16. Call 888-445-4111 for an appointment. It will go to other locations throughout the state, including Windham, Biddeford, Fryeburg, Old Town, Calais, Waterville, Milbridge and Madawaska.
• St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center: People ages 60 and older can preregister starting March 8 on the website or call 207-755-3100.
• Walgreens: Accepting vaccination appointments this week in Maine. Check on appointments at the website.
• Walmart: To make an appointment, go to the website. The 24 locations represents all 22 Walmart stores in Maine, plus the two Sam’s Club locations.
