A honeycomb as Lewiston’s new logo … really? One can probably can find one somewhere, but would it say Lewiston?
A beautiful river, restored historic mills, beautiful old buildings and new modern ones. Bates College, major hospitals, a vibrant workforce and affordable housing. These better represent Lewiston.
Many may recall “Cities of the Androscoggin,” a major campaign that cost Lewiston-Auburn nothing and ran successfully on TV and print for more than two years. “Cities” was developed by WCSH6 in partnership with the Sun Journal, the Chamber, Economic Growth Council, and more than 20 area businesses.
How unfortunate the two cities could not, once again, come together to create a new and dynamic message for Lewiston-Auburn.
It’s very disappointing.
