I just finished a reread of “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Victor Frankl — an Austrian neurologist, psychiatrist, philosopher and author.
Frankl, a Holocaust survivor, writes correctly that there is only one race — the human race. However, he divides humanity into two groups: decent and indecent. In addition to his vast background in psychotherapy, another reason for this bifurcation was his discovery that, even in a gruesome concentration camp, one could still find the occasional guard or Kapo that truly cared about prisoner welfare.
To Frankl it would be appalling how so many of the elites in government and education are basing their rigid classifying of people on their skin color, their political view, their gender, their religion, their wealth or poverty, their party affiliation, etc. Making these artificial groupings is irresponsible, tribal and unbiblical.
There are decent and indecent members in all groups. In my opinion it is simple to discern between the two. Decent people understand it is wrong to kill unborn children. They know it is unjust to take a higher tax percentage from citizens who work harder and smarter than from those who do not. They take responsibility for their failings.
More currently, they discerned that what the Leftist Democratic Party and the media did with their steady stream of lies about our obviously flawed former president, Donald Trump, was a perfect example of indecency by uncivil and vengeful people.
