Unknown for their fuzzy psych-rock sound and dynamic two-man set-up, A River of Trees consists of Luke Martin covering guitar and vocals with drummer Trevor Warren beating out the rest. Originating in 2015 as a solo project to release Martin’s first live album, A River of Trees was primarily a studio act, at least until the spring of 2020 when Martin would release his second album and work up the nerve to play live.
Described as a blend of grungy psychedelic rock to post punk, the band has self-released an impressive array of live and studio works. Their latest, “The Dragon Egg E.P.” is out now and available for streaming everywhere.
