If you’re a little kid and get hurt, the scariest part could be the stuff those ambulance people put on you. Members of Canton Fire and Rescue demonstrated equipment for students at Canton Elementary School Thursday, part of an effort to relieve those fears, according to member Lisa Cote. “We find when we go to a pediatric call, they are scared when we try to put something on them.” Seeing the equipment before hand should help.” Student volunteers tried out the blood pressure cuff, a nasal tube, with an attached oxygen tank, a cervical collar, and a face mask called a non rebreather.
