LISBON — Mason Booker drove in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning with a two-run triple as Lisbon edged Waynflete/North Yarmouth Academy 4-3 in a Class C South quarterfinal at Lisbon.
Booker also pitched six innings, striking out five, allowing two hits and walking two for the fourth-seeded Greyhounds (15-2).
Neil Larochelle also had an RBI triple in the sixth inning and Hunter Brissette and Levi Tibbetts each had two hits.
Michael Belleau had a RBI double for fifth-seeded Waynflete/NYA (12-6) in the top of the sixth.
Luke Josephson went six innings for Waynflete/NYA, striking out seven and allowing six hits. He also had a hit and a run scored.
SOFTBALL
HALL-DALE 13, DIRIGO 1: Rita Benoit had four singles to pace the top-seeded Bulldogs past the No. 9 Cougars in five innings in a Class C South quarterfinal in Farmingdale.
Sarah Benner, Zoe Soule and Lily Platt added two hits apiece for the Bulldogs (14-0) while Lexi Rideout had a double.
Alexa Perreault had both hits for 13th-seeded Dirigo (5-9), including a triple.
GIRLS LACROSSE
FALMOUTH 13, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Sloane Ginevan’s four goals and one assist carried No. 1 Falmouth past the No. 8 Red Eddies in a Class A North quarterfinal at Falmouth.
Molly Scribner followed with a pair of goals for Falmouth. Avi Fishman had a goal and three assists and Abby Blakeman put up a goal and two assists.
Falmouth advances to face No. 4 Lewiston in Friday’s semifinals.
BOYS LACROSSE
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4, LAKE REGION 1: Nick Stanley scored twice in a low-scoring win for the Patriots (7-6) over the Lakers (3-10) in a Class C round of 16 matchup at Gray.
Matt Gilman and Ben Pierce also scored for fifth-seeded Gray-NG, and Sam Tibbetts made eight saves in goal.
Jason Harlow scored the lone goal for 12th-seeded Lake Region, with Aundrew Edwards stopping 14 shots.
