To the Editor:
While you’re quietly enjoying your morning coffee and this newspaper, developers are carefully crafting the next best thing for this community. This new business will be located in Norway just outside the town center on Lake Road, Route 117/118. The developer is in the process of putting together a formal proposal. It’s large enough to need DEP and the Army Corp of Engineers.
The preliminary plan shows:
• 6.64 Acres, 4 acres will be used for the project.
• 19,700 square feet of floor area in 7 buildings
• Parking for approximately 200 cars and buses.
• They hope to have the necessary permits to bring a full application to the Planning Board by the end of August.
Some of us in the community think we shouldn’t be the only ones that know about it. After all, you’ll be the ones sitting in traffic trying to get across town.
