LOVELL – Ruth Moore, a part-time resident of Lovell, will teach American Sign Language and talk about the deaf community through an interpreter at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 15, via Zoom through the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library.
Moore has taught American Sign Language at the University of Massachusetts, Smith College, and Hampshire College in Massachusetts.
She will share her own story as a member of the deaf community, as well as offer some helpful ASL signs to learn to better communicate with deaf neighbors and friends. This is event for all ages.
