The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club’s 12th annual golf tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Bridgton Highland Country Club at 379 Highland Road in Bridgton.
The event begins with registration and refreshments at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start 9 a.m.
The cost is $100 per player; walk-ons are welcome. Golfers are free with some sponsorships.

Players can enjoy 18 holes of golf with cart, gift bag, barbecue and awards.
Prizes include a Hole in One Challenge for a Myrtle Beach Golf Vacation, Putting Challenge, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin.
Rotarian Dr. Lisa Ryan, Golf Committee chair, called the event “the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club’s biggest yearly fundraiser, helping to support our programs. We already have three Platinum, four Gold, six Silver and 20 Bronze sponsors. Consider joining us for a wonderful morning of golf. Sign up a foursome or come alone and we’ll match you with others. We are happy to be on the golf course again,” according to a news release from the rotary.
