Champions in all 11 divisions were crowned Saturday at Oxford Plains Speedway in the track’s final regular-season event of the year.

BEECH RIDGE TO BE SOLD, LIKELY CLOSING
According to media reports, including WGME via Bangor Daily News, and social media posts from those at the track Saturday night, Beech Ridge Motor Speedway owner Andy Cusack announced at the end of the night’s racing action that he was under contract to sell the property to developers and the track would likely close at the end of the season.
The track opened in 1949 after being built by Jim McConnell, who eventually sold the property to Cal Reynolds in 1973. Andy Cusack’s father, Ralph Cusack, bought the track from Reynolds in 1981.
Andy Cusack reportedly left open the slight possibility of the new owners operating the track in 2022.
