BETHEL — Telstar’s Middle School Cross-Country Team placed first in both the boys and girls division against Lisbon, Oak Hill, and Spruce Mountain on Tuesday, September 14. On the boy’s team, three Telstar students placed in the top 10, and on the girl’s team, one student placed first.

The race was the first of the season with the distance being 1.5 miles for both the Middle School girls and boys in sixth to eighth grade. The boys and girls ran separately. It was a close call between the winning Telstar female student and her competitor from Spruce Mountion. Telstar won by one second.
