FARMINGTON — Khalid Hersi scored a pair of goals in Lewiston’s 6-1 victory over Mt. Blue in a boys soccer game Tuesday.
Romano Bassa, Moses Lumu, Abdihakim Daud and Shafi Ibrahim each added goals for the Blue Devils (10-0-1), with assists going to Bassa, Ibrahim, Igor Domingues and Josh Brito.
Josh Smith scored the Cougars’ (2-10) loan goal.
MT. ABRAM 2, HALL-DALE 0: Sam Cockerham and Trevor Phelps each scored a goal in the Roadrunners’ victory over the Bulldogs (7-5) in Salem.
Morgan Thibodeau and Wyatt Sieminski each had assists and goalie Ian Allen made five saves for Mt. Abram (9-0-2), which led 1-0 at the half.
BANGOR 2, EDWARD LITTLE 1 Josh Partel scored both goals for the Rams (7-2-2) in a win over the Red Eddies (7-4-1) in Bangor.
His first goal came late in the second half on a free kick at the top of the 18-yard box and scored in the first overtime to win it.
Jack Thompson scored the second half to give EL a 1-0 lead. Mohamed Adow had the assist.
Trey Bourassa stopped four shots for Bangor and Eli St. Laurent made one save for EL.
GIRLS SOCCER
BANGOR 3, EDWARD LITTLE 1 Emilyn Streams, Devon St. Louis and Olivia Scott each scored in the Rams’ (12-0) win over the Red Eddies (3-8-1) in Auburn.
Lexi Kelsea scored on an unassisted free kick 40 yards out for Edward Little. Devon St. Louis, Amelia Quinn and Rachel Mathieu each picked up assists for Bangor. Winning goalie Emma NcNeil made five saves for the Rams.
CAPE ELIZABETH 5, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Emily Supple scored four times for the Capers (10-1) in a victory over the Patriots (4-8) in Gray.
Evelyn Agrodnia had the other Cape Elizabeth goal and Ellis Piper only needed to make one save for the win.
Isabelle Ross stopped 15 shots for Gray-New Gloucester.
FIELD HOCKEY
LISBON 1, TELSTAR 0: Reesa Potvin scored the game-winning goal in the second quarter on assists by Laura Mockler and Maddy Tuplin in the Greyhounds’ (5-6-1) victory over the Rebels (0-12) in Lisbon.
Winning goalie Maria Levesque made four saves for Lisbon.
