YORK — Hunter Hayes had an 8-yard touchdown run and connected with Brett Coburn for a 15-yard touchdown in the second half as Leavitt rallied to beat York 31-21 in football on Friday night.
Noah Carpenter ran for 127 yards on nine carries. Hayes, Dayton Calder and Ben Sirois all had 70-plus yards apiece. Hayes and Nick Morin both had interceptions.
The Hornets (5-0) had a slow start, but in the second half, they marched down on the first two drives and scored.
Hayden Henriksen rushed for two touchdowns in the first half for the Wildcats.
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 50, LAKE REGION 0: Cam Phillips scored on Spruce Mountain’s first offensive play, and the Phoenix (5-2) rolled past the Lakers (2-4) in an eight-man game in Jay.
After a muffed punt set up the first touchdown, Spruce Mountain added a 53-yard run by Isaac Parker and a 22-yard pass from Phillips to Elie Timler to open a 22-0 lead in the first quarter.
DIRIGO 58, YARMOUTH 46: Trenton Hutchinson caught three touchdown passes and returned a punt for a score as the Cougars (5-2) outlasted the Clippers (1-6) in a high-scoring eight-man football contest in Dixfield.
Dirgo quarterback Charlie Houghton finished with three passing TDs and one rushing touchdown. Dakota Tomkins had a touchdown catch and Curtis Errington ran for two scores.

EDWARD LITTLE 3, SKOWHEGAN 2: Jack Thompson scored twice in Edward Little’s (8-4-1) come-from-behind victory over Skowhegan (3-9-1) in Auburn.
The Red Eddies scored twice in the second half after Skowhegan had built a 2-1 lead hat halftime.
Mohamed Adow had a goal and assist for Edward Little while Owen Vincent and Josh Lavigne each had an assist. Eli St. Laurent made five saves in the win.
Aiden Clark scored twice for Skowhegan and Ryan Donoghue made 10 saves.
MT. ABRAM 8, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Eight different players scored as Mt. Abram defeated Spruce Mountain to remain unbeaten in Salem.
Sam Coackerham, Wyatt Sieminski, Kaden Pillsbury, Hunter Durland, Charlie Pye, Kyle Presby, Morgan Thibodeau and Ash Rollins each scored for the Roadrunners (11-0-2). Ian Allen made four saves.
Jacob Bryant stopped 32 shots for the Phoenix (5-5-0).
LEAVITT 3, LINCOLN 2: Cooper McGray notched a goal and an assist, and Robbie Gladu and Logan Berube also scored for the Hornets (6-5-2) in a win against the Eagles (3-8-2) in Newcastle.
Ian Redstone and Blake Springer each had an assist. Myles Hanscom made five saves for Leavitt.
Maddox Tilas and Jack Duncan scored for Lincoln, and Isaac Thompson stopped 12 shots.
GIRLS SOCCER
LEAVITT 4, LINCOLN ACADEMY 2: Katie Blouin scored a pair of goals and Ali Denning and Logan Arsenault each added one in the Hornets’ (4-6-3) victory over the Eagles (2-10-1) in Turner.
Jalee Boucher, Riley Chiasson, Logan Arsenault and each picked up assists for Leavitt. Goalies Carlie Leavitt and Abby Bays combined for seven saves.
Catarina Johnson and Mariam Delisle each scored a goal for Lincoln.
MT. ABRAM 0, BUCKFIELD 0: The Roadrunners (8-3-1) and the Bucks (5-5-2) couldn’t find the back of the net in a scoreless draw in Buckfield.
Haley Bate made 12 saves for Mt. Abram while Ruby Cyr stopped six shots for Buckfield.

OAK HILL 1, BOOTHBAY/WISCASSET 0: Cassie Steckino scored early in the second overtime to give the Raiders (5-8-1) a victory over the Seahawks (2-11-1) in Wales.
Mia Valliere assisted on the goal. Sierra Lane made three saves for the shutout.
Jaelyn Crocker stopped nine shots for Boothbay/Wiscasset.
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 3, LISBON 1: Autumn Freeman scored a pair of goals and Taylor Duguay added one in the Falcons’ victory over the Greyhounds in Lisbon.
Kay Sinclair picked up an assist for Mountain Valley and Brooke Brown made four saves. Haley Tuplin scored Lisbon’s loan in the third period. Goalie Maria Levesque made 20 saves for the Falcons.
