An evening of Readers Theater performing short stories by two acclaimed Maine authors: Morgan Talty (Maine Literacy Award for Short Fiction) and Monica Wood (May Sarton Memoir Award, Maine Literary Award, Oprah summer-reading pick) is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at The Chocolate Church Arts Center, 804 Washington St., in Bath.

A cast of local professional actors will narrate and perform two stories, presented by Midcoast Literacy.

Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 day of show.
