State Rep. Randall Greenwood shows a selfish disregard for the hospital staff at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He did not get the vaccine that has been proven as a good deterrent to severe cases of COVID-19.
Instead he felt he had the right to tax the already over-burdened ICU and other hospital staff for his 12-day stay due to needing a ventilator and other acute care when he contracted the virus and needed hospitalization.
His “rough bout” with COVID-19 would have been far less severe had he been vaccinated. The hospital stay and all the quality care he received would not have been necessary.
So he is a hero to the anti-vaxxer supporters. But certainly not to those who needed to care for him because of his ignorance.
