Returning athletes: Seniors — Eve Martineau (D), Sophia Castagna (D) Sophia Hartley (F), Megan Lachance (F), Molly Sirois (F), Audrey Day (F), Caroline Audette (F), McKenzi Horton (G); Sophomores — Kylee Spugnardi (F), Gianna Castagna (F), Grace Ducharme (F), Olivia Doyon (F), Helena Moon (F), Aubrey Oakes, Mackenzie Grenier (F).
Key loss: Caroline Tracey.
Promising newcomers: Freshmen — Alyssa Prosser (D), Ella LaBelle (D), Sophia Bourgoin (D).
Season outlook: The Red Hornets have a good mix of returning varsity players who have made key contributions to the team in past seasons, and add talented sophomores and freshmen in 2021-22. Coach Dana Berube hopes the Red Hornets improve throughout the regular season and are ready to be a competitive team come playoffs.

LEWISTON BLUE DEVILS

Returning players: Seniors — Rebecca Lussier (F), Kristen Lachance (F), Leah Landry (F), Lilly Gish (D), Charlotte Cloutier (D); Juniors — Ava Geoffroy (D), Alyssa Marcoux (F), Leah Dube (F), Kim McLaughlin (G).
Key losses: Brie Dube, Madison Conley, Bailee St. Hilaire, Paige Pomerleau.
Promising newcomers: Freshman — Avaya Desjardins (D), Sadie Morgan (D), Toree St.Hilaire (F), Courtney Lachance (F).
Season outlook: They’ve lost some key players, buy the Blue Devils have a core of talented returning players and a group of newcomers who are expected to contribute immediately. Leah Landry led the team with 16 goals and 11 assists last season, while Leah Dube had 12 goals and 10 assists.

MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE EAGLES
Coach: Jeremy Saxton (fourth year)
Region: North
Last year’s record: 11-2
Returning players: Seniors — Greta Marchildon (G) Megan Reed (D); Juniors — Mallory Stuart (D), Alex Durant (F), Hannah Hawkes (F); Sophomores — Caragh Beasley (D), Sarah Moore (F), Allie Hunter(F).
Key losses: Ema Hawkes, Alexis Saxton, Bre Hunter, Maddie Young, Abbie Lucas.
Promising newcomers: Junior — Marley Lebel; Freshman — Remy Lebel.
Season outlook: While this group of players will take some time to gel, it should be talented bunch, according to Jeremy Saxton, adding that the Eagles have smart hockey players with a strong grasp of fundamentals. Saxton expects them to play each game with grit and determination.

SAINT DOMINIC/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/MONMOUTH/WINTHROP SAINTS
Coach: Paul Gosselin (10th year)
Region: North
Returning athletes: Seniors — Emma Roy (F), Bella Webster (F), West Duffy (F); Juniors — Maddie Waymouth (D), Bella Pelletier (F), Avery Haskins (F); Sophomores — Georgie Davidson (D), Lauren Hanlon (D).
Key losses: Gigi Ouelette, Maddie Pelletier, Mady Boulet, Lily Beauchesne, Taryn Cloutier, Abbie Ross, Lucy Frenette.
Promising newcomers: Gabby Allen (F), Aubrianna White (G), Emily Andrews (F).
Season outlook: Players are anxious to start a new, and full, season, which will be a rebuilding year for the Saints. They have new goaltender, Aubrianna White from Monmouth, which has been added to the co-op this season. Coach Paul Gosselin said the goals for the season are to have fun, work hard and have the players represent their schools well.
