The carpentry class at the Foster Applied Technology Center is building a top over the recycling bins at the Farmington Landfill and Recycling Center. Teacher Mike Fogg said the 26- by 60-foot structure is tall enough to accommodate trucks that transport the goods to be recycled. The bins needed to be covered because they were filling with rain and snow, making the recyclables heavier and thus more expensive to be hauled. The carpentry class includes Jim Ross from Mt. Abram High School in Salem Township and Randy Barker, Jason Bean, Troy Bean, Eric Coburn, Josh Dunham, Delton Foss, Dennis Oliver, Nick Silva, Shain Smith and William Rackliffe of Mt. Blue High School.

The material used in Looking Back is produced exactly as it originally appeared although misspellings and errors may be corrected.
