The newly organized Lewiston and Auburn Automobile Association already has a membership of 400. This was announced at a meeting of the directors, held in the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce rooms Friday afternoon. Included in the other business was the report that it was impossible to secure the desired speaker for the recently announced meeting to have been  scheduled for next Wednesday evening. It was therefore voted to postpone the meeting to the following week, date and time to be announced later. Frank W. Winter was chosen to make arrangements for securing the speaker, George Wallingford — was charged with arranging for the tickets and E. A. Bickford was named general manager of the whole affair. He plans for a good banquet to be followed by a meeting and speeches.
