WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
BATES 71, HAMILTON 59: Mia Roy scored 25 points and Meghan Graff scored 17 as the Bobcats (10-3, 2-0 NESCAC) raced past the Continentals (6-6, 0-2) in Lewiston.

Morgan Kennedy helped out with a 11 and Brianna Gadaletta dropped in 10 for Bates. The Bobcats, who defeated third-ranked Amherst on Friday night, have won four consecutive games.

Karle Zarle had 23 points for Hamilton.

CMCC 88, UMAINE-FORT KENT: Central Maine Community College stampeded past the University of Maine at Fort Kent with a huge early run in Auburn.

The Mustangs (13-2, 5-1 YSCC) opened the game with a 23-0 run and, paced by Eliza Brault’s eight points, led 28-5 after one quarter.

Their lead grew to 44-11 at halftime and 72-17 after three quarters.

CMCC’s Leata Te Nana-Williams led all scorers with 15 points. Brault finished with 12 points, while Luna Love contributed 11, Myah Nicolas and Sarah Poli each scored 10 and Emily Strachan and Kali Thompson scored nine apiece.

Arieyle Baker and Jzane Cavalli-Money led the Bengals (0-7) with eight points each. Karolyn Baptise added seven, all in the fourth quarter.

HAMILTON 76, BATES 58: Graham Robinson and Conner Rood both scored 12 points as the Continentals (8-7, 2-2 NESCAC) beat the Bobcats (5-6, 1-4) in Hamilton, New York.

Liam Regan added 11 points for Hamilton, while Nick Soarenren had eight points and 11 rebounds.

Simon McCormick had 17 points and six rebounds and Taras Fesilenko had 11 points for Bates.
