LISBON — The Lisbon Police Department is looking for any information that will help lead investigators to the suspect of an armed robbery that occurred Saturday at a store.
At approximately 5:50 a.m., Lisbon police responded to Rusty Lantern Market at 689 Lisbon St. for a report of an armed robbery, police Chief Ryan McGee said in a statement. A male subject approached the store clerk, produced a handgun and demanded everything, McGee said.
Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office and Topsham Police Department also responded to the scene.
The male suspect is described as being over 6 feet tall and was wearing a bright yellow Under Armor sweatshirt, a blue ski mask, gloves and dark-colored pants, McGee said. The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
