LEWISTON — Ribbon-cutting and park naming for the city’s new athletic field and sledding hill, 1 p.m. at 290 Bartlett St. It will include sledding, free cold-weather clothing and gear; free hot cocoa and donuts; snow-sculpture building and voting to choose new public art sculptures. Attendees may park at the former Longley School, 145 Birch St., and follow signs to the gathering.
