I’ve read a lot of letters writing about democracy lately, even one stating that America’s “experiment with democracy is failing.”

Well, I say, good. America is not a democracy; it’s a constitutional republic that practices democracy to elect our representation in Congress, not our overlords.

Democracies have been failing since the Roman era, as they should; they eventually lead to dictatorships. Democracy is when two wolves and a sheep vote what’s for dinner.

I had to get that off my chest.
