The Rangeley Health and Wellness (RHW) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer McCormack RN, BSN, MBA as the organization’s new executive director. McCormack will oversee all aspects of operations for Ascent Physical Therapy, Children’s and Seniors’ Programming and Services and the Fitness and Wellness Center.
McCormack has held many leadership roles in cancer prevention and community and mental health. For the last 25 years, Ms. McCormack was part of Franklin Community Health Network serving in the roles of patient support coordinator at Franklin Memorial Hospital, and as the community health clinical administrator and executive director of Healthy Community Coalition. She also served as interim executive director of River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition.
“Jennifer is passionate about improving the health and well-being of area residents and increasing access to health services for all. Her background and prior experience in healthcare will be invaluable in helping RHW carry out its mission”, said Patricia Butler, RHW Board President.
McCormack earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Thomas College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Boston College.
Jennifer, along with her husband, owns Mountain View Cottages in Oquossoc and dedicates her spare time to managing the business. She enjoys swimming, skiing, rollerblading and spending time with
her two adult daughters
