BRIDGTON — The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club will move its weekly meeting time from 7:30 a.m. on Thursdays to 4:30 p.m. According to President Jessica Putnam, the later time will be more convenient for working parents. She remarked, “Younger working parents are often reluctant to make a commitment for a morning meeting when they are busy with work and school preparations. We hope that new members will find the 4:30 pm time more convenient.” Most existing members felt a 4:30 meeting time on the same day was workable. The Board of Directors has agreed to test this meeting time for March and April and see how it works.

The meetings will continue to be hybrid so that those who are still reluctant to move inside with crowds are able to participate. Meetings will be at Stella’s on the Square, located at 6 High Street, Bridgton, Maine, on the first four Thursdays of the month. When there is a fifth Thursday in a month, a social is usually organized.
