100 Years Ago: 1922
The TMTM Corp of Girl Reserves held a party last night at the Blue Triangle Rooms, to which the girls invited their boy friends. The club rooms were decorated in blue and gold, the corps colors. Dancing and games were enjoyed, and ice cream, and cookies were enjoyed for refreshments.
50 Years Ago: 1972
A special program will be presented by Charles Marshall Jr. and his two children, Brenda and Bruce at a supper meeting for the Merri-Makers at Calvary United Methodist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Sumner Wright are in charge of the arrangements. Supper will be served at 6:30 and anyone interested is invited to attend.
25 Years Ago: 1997
This year’s winter sports cheerleaders at Elm Street School in Mechanic Falls are Jill Dunne, Chrissy Cox, Morgan Brooks, Megan Bickford, Danielle Ustach, Leah Hilderbrand, Darcey Chabot, Nina Thomas, Lacy Verrill, Micki True, Candy Farwell, Miranda McNally, Amanda Boyd and Amy Bernard.
