Twenty-one people participated in the silent, slow-paced ride to commemorate those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. The Maine Cycling Club sponsored the local ride that coincided with similar events all over the world. The Bicycle Coalition of Maine coordinated silent rides in Andover, Saco, Yarmouth and Lewiston.
