The possibility of having a sidewalk art display in Auburn next summer will be discussed at a meeting called for Wednesday afternoon at the Auburn council chamber in the city building. Richard F. Cahill, city planner is spearheading the group which has expressed an interest in the undertaking during the 1973 summer period. The next meeting is scheduled at 1:15 pm on Wednesday. Among those expected to attend are Lucien Dube. George Scott, Don Bush and Dave Collins of the Auburn Business Association, Marcel Berube of the New Auburn Business Group, Mrs. Glennis Lloyd, president of the Androscoggin Valley Art Association and Regis Fournier, who has had experience as chairman of art shows. Such a sidewalk art display in the city would aid not only the participating artists, but also would be good for Auburn business.
