Rotarian Jesse Walsh presented a $500 scholarship to Sarah Rowe of Denmark June 14 as part of the 2022 Lake Region & Fryeburg Area Adult Education Graduation Program.

Rowe looks forward to her studies at Central Maine Community College with plans to enroll in the social sciences program and eventually transfer to a bachelor’s program in the future, according to a news release about the scholarship.

This award represents one of three scholarships given out by the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club each year to students pursuing academic or vocational careers.
