A special meeting of the Auburn School Committees will be tonight, and members will be given a recommendation on what action should be taken on Sacred Heart School. Ralph Noel, chairman of the ASC special committee: which has been negotiating with representatives of Sacred Heart Parish, said Monday night his committee will present to the full school committee a recommendation on what action should be taken.

Noel declined Monday night to disclose the recommendation indicating that the committee should hear the report first. The agenda for the Wednesday session indicates that action will be taken by the school committee, and it is anticipated that the school should be purchased by the city.

The school ended its existence as a parochial school when it closed its door last month at the end of the school year. The closing precipitated considerable controversy within the parish and the ASC was given a price of $250,000 for the purchase of the facility.
