Auburn Public Library’s part 2 of its Follow Me Down to the Garden series is set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, in the Androscoggin Room at 49 Spring St.

UMO Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Christine Conlogue will help identify insects, both those which benefit gardens and those which are harmful. She’ll also share the best watering habits, talk about succession planting to increase the garden’s yield, and how to know when the vegetables are ready for harvest, according to a news release from the library.

To register, or for more information, visit auburnpubliclibrary.org or call the Reference Desk at 207-333-6640, ext. 4.
