Lewiston’s representation in Augusta has been there a long time, but it’s done little to change Lewiston’s direction.
And it needs it. Rick LaChapelle wants to inspire that change as state senator.
He’s committed to helping Lewiston residents build a thriving economy — leading to economic independence for Lewiston families, making streets safe and free of drugs and crime, strengthening our schools and getting parents involved, and bringing commerce and infrastructure that grows the tax base, lessening the financial burden on us all.
Rick’s roots go deep into this community. He runs a business, employs workers, and pays taxes. He’s invested his personal labor and resources into the community and understands the local economy and school system.
He’s brought common sense discussions to the City Council. Active in the local faith community, he possesses a sincere desire to help Lewiston grow, which requires some bold new approaches.
The past approaches haven’t worked.
