Q&A
Define what “success” would look like if you are elected to serve your district.
A priority of mine is the reduction of electrical rates and energy costs (home heating oil or electricity). Along with that, another issue we must address is taking care of our elderly and others in need with financial assistance due to the rise of inflation.
Other priorities include:
~ School choice and parent participation in curriculum;
~ The overreach and mandates from the executive branch without legislative approval;
~ The over-taxation of the Maine people. Reform the tax structure, as other states have done; and
~ The business climate and the workforce shortage by getting more people back to work
Characterize your view on public access to governmental business.
We were elected by the people, for the people. We are a citizen Legislature, and all Maine citizens should have complete and full access to the legislative process.
