BUCKFIELD — Riley Smith’s two goals paced the Monmouth/Winthrop girls soccer team to a 3-1 win over Buckfield on Monday.
Kaitlyn Frost also scored for the Mustangs (6-1). Katie Beck had two assists and Elsa Goebel-Bain had one. Goalie June Foyt made eight saves.
Kai Trenoweth scored the Bucks’ (6-3) lone goal off an assist by Mya Austin. Kianna Finnegan made 16 saves.
MT. ABRAM 2, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN/DIRIGO 0: The Roadrunners (5-2) scored a goal in each half of their win over the Phoenix (3-4) in Dixfield.
Jayden Stuart scored on a breakaway in the first half and Charlotte Mitchell scored with 17 minutes remaining in the second half.
Goalie Ruthie Gusier stopped five shots in the victory, while Spruce Mountain/Dirigo’s Emma Towers made 12 saves.
HALL-DALE 8, LISBON 0: Marie Benoit scored twice to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Farmingdale.
Hayden Madore, Jenna Lee, Karlie Reith, Aubrey Gilbert, Sierra Givens and Lily Drouin-Scease each added a goal for Hall-Dale, which remains unbeaten at 9-0-0. Rita Benoit chipped in two assists.
Alivia Fields made 16 saves for Lisbon (1-5-0).
FIELD HOCKEY
OAK HILL 3, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Three second-quarter goals lifted the Raiders (3-5) to victory over the Falcons (2-6-1) in Rumford.
Julie Mooney, Lilly Coburn and Lexi Pelkey found the back of the net for Oak Hill. Mia Valliere and Izzy Whitaker had an assist each, while goalie Sierra Lane stopped 11 shots for the shutout.
Brooke Brown made 15 saves for Mountain Valley.
WINTHROP 5, DIRIGO 0: Bella Littler and Madeline Wagner each scored twice in the Ramblers’ (7-2) victory over the Cougars (5-3) in Winthrop.
Julia Letourneau also scored for Winthrop. Lauryn Wood had two assists, while Lauren Miller and Emma Shuman each set up one goal and goalie Madison Weymouth stopped four shots for the shutout.
Alivia Ellis made nine saves for Dirigo.
YARMOUTH 5, POLAND 1: Sophie Smith had three goals, Celia Zinman and Sally McGrath also scored and the Clippers (3-4) downed the visiting Knights (1-6) in Yarmouth.
CAMDEN HILLS 2, LEWISTON 1, 2OT: Addie Kelly scored an unassisted goal in double overtime to lift the Windjammers (4-4-1) past the Blue Devils (1-7) in Lewiston.
Claudine Webber notched a goal in the third quarter off a penalty corner for Camden Hills to tie the game at 1-1.
Allison Lavallee scored in the first half for Lewiston. Gabriella Thomas recorded the assist.
Goalie Tess Hodgkins turned aside seven shots for Camden Hills, while Kim McLaughlin stopped 13 shots for the Blue Devils.
