(from a Journal photo) They have your number and you’ll be hearing from them and their committees in the near future. Mrs. Norman L. Cummings, seated in the foreground and Mrs. Stephen F. Dunlap behind her are co-chairmen of the annual Charity Ball of Central Maine General Hospital’s Women’s Association. The Ball will be held at Lost Valley Lodge on November 4. The co-chairmen posed at the hospital’s switchboard after a conference with two WHA members who served as chairmen in the past. Mrs. Thomas Delahanty, standing at the right, was co-chairman of the Ball in 1947, and is a member of the current Executive Board, and Mrs. John Carrier, whose husband is a member of the hospital’s radiological staff, was chairman in 1957.
