The Minot Historical Society’s 2023 calendars are now on sale. The calendar was created and printed by Lucille Hodson.
About 20 years ago the town’s Bicentennial Committee asked Hodson to create a calendar to celebrate 200 years. The society has now reached out to her again for her expertise to create the 2023 calendar, according to a news release from society member Sylvia Bosse.
Society members voted to celebrate “old Minot” in this year’s calendar. Hodson has a vast collection of pictures and vast knowledge of Minot’s past. The calendar should bring back many memories for some and be educational pictures for those new to the area.
Calendars cost $12 each and can be purchased at the Minot Town Office, 329 Woodman Hill Road, by calling 207-345-3305, or by contacting society members, Julie Goodell at 207-345-1218 or Jeanne Letourneau at 207-345-5871.
