When I was a kid, all of my earliest Halloween costumes likely came straight out of Laverdiere’s Super Drug Store. I can still remember how those costumes smelled. I remember how my face would get damp and hot inside the hard plastic mask to the point where I’d be near passing out by the time we got to the end of the block. It was great fun. And with that in mind, we’d like to hear about YOUR favorite Halloween costume from back in the day. Whether it was some all-in-one costume kit from McRory’s or an outfit your mom made with her own two hands, we’d like to hear your stories of Halloween glory — with photos if you got ’em.
