RUMFORD — A hat trick of hat tricks gave the Mt. Abram boys soccer team a 9-0 win over Mountain Valley on Monday.
Morgan Thibodeau, Bear Rollins and Kaden Pillsbury each scored for the Roadrunners (13-1) in their regular season finale. Pillsbury, Thibodeau, Tre Pease and Ash Rollins had an assist apiece.
The Roadrunners defense only allowed Mountain Valley to take two shots, one of which was saved by Trey Reed and the other by Logan Dube.
Falcons (2-10-2) goalkeeper Zac New stopped 11 shots.
CARRABEC 2, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN/DIRIGO 0: Luke Carey’s and Christopher Caruso’s first-half goals sent the Cobras (7-7) past the Phoenix (3-11) in North Anson.
Lucas Vicnerie earned an assist for Carrabec, and goalie Kayden Longley stopped two shots.
Spruce Mountain/Dirigo’s Logan Knight made eight saves.
HALL-DALE 2, WINTHROP 0: The Bulldogs (6-5-3) scored once in each half and held the Ramblers (8-6) scoreless in an MVC game in Winthrop.
Thomas Murch and Ihsan Adbalnadi scored goals for Hall-Dale. Goalie Jackson Leach stopped two shots.
Winthrop goalie Jaxson August finished with four saves.
FIELD HOCKEY
WINTHROP 6, BOOTHBAY 0: Madeline Wagner’s three-goal performance highlighted the Ramblers’ (12-2) victory over the Seahawks (2-12) in each team’s regular season finale in Boothbay.
Bella Littler added two goals and two assists and Izzy Folsom contributed one goal and one for Winthrop.
Ramblers goalie Madison Weymouth finished with five saves, while Cass Amaral stopped 15 shots for Boothbay.
LISBON 10, TELSTAR 0: Haley-Jane Tuplin scored three goals and Maddy Tuplin scored two goals to lead the Greyhounds’ (11-3) crew of seven scorers in a win over the Rebels (0-14) in Lisbon.
Reesa Theriault-Guay, Laura Mockler, Alivia Saunders, Capella Russo and Ella Morales also scored for Lisbon. Goalie Maria Levesque made three saves.
Telstar goalie Lindsy Rose stopped 23 shots.
GIRLS SOCCER
BANGOR 1, MT. BLUE 0: Olivia Scott’s second-half goal boosted the Rams (8-1-4) over the Cougars (11-2) in Farmington.
Anna Connors assisted on Scott’s goal. Bangor goalie Emma McNeil stopped all 12 shots she faced.
Mt. Blue goalie Caitlin Burke finished with nine saves.
MADISON 2, OAK HILL 1: Goals by Laura Holden and Ella Haynie were the difference in the Bulldogs’ (7-7) victory over the Raiders (3-10) in Wales.
Eliana Smith scored Oak Hill’s goal.
Madison goalie Allison Tucson stopped 11 shots, while Oak Hill’s MacKenzie Vattasso stopped five.
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN/DIRIGO 9, CARRABEC 1: Abby St. Clair netted five goals to lead the Phoenix (7-6) past the Cobras (0-13) in Jay.
Gabby Rodriguez and Jazmin Ryder added two goals apiece for Spruce Mountain/Dirigo.
Carrabec goalie Macie Plourde stopped 14 shots.
