AUGUSTA — VA Maine Healthcare System plans to host a Touch a Truck & Trunk or Treat event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.

The event will be held at Togus Medical Center, 1 VA Center.

Those who attend can meet local first responders, learn about fire safety, get some candy, and more.

Educational activities will be provided by fire, EMS, corrections, and police departments.

There will be a smoke trailer and bounce house.
